Apply for the CAP 2.0 Committee

Sunnyvale’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) outlines strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions through 2020, but does not yet chart a path towards achieving more ambitious, longer term targets for 2030 and 2050. We’re taking a new approach – CAP 2.0 – to achieve bold greenhouse gas reductions for climate action in Sunnyvale.

Our vision for CAP 2.0 is a framework that will include breakthrough ideas for our community, generated by our community. Engaging the enthusiasm of the community and the innovation of local technology companies, along with can-do Silicon Valley spirit, is integral to developing a plan that is aspirational, achievable and adaptable.

The CAP 2.0 Advisory Committee will play a key role in providing a variety of perspectives to advise on the development of this updated climate action strategy. Join the effort and help shape the vision for accelerating climate action in our community!

Applicants must reside in Sunnyvale or represent a business, volunteer group, or real estate development or brokerage firm that operates in Sunnyvale.
