The Sunnyvale City Council will hold a public hearing regarding proposed changes to utility rates for City-provided water, wastewater (sewer), solid waste (garbage) and recycling services.
Utility Rate Public Hearing
When: Tuesday, June 25, 7 p.m.
Where: City Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Ave.
Utility costs will vary based on actual use or subscription level, however, with the proposed rates, a typical monthly single-family residential water, wastewater and solid waste utility bill will decrease by about 2 percent (equal to a reduction of $3.44 per month or $41.28 per year).
If you wish to file a protest of the proposed service rate change, the City must receive your written protest, including the original signature of the property owner or utility customer of record, prior to the close of the public hearing on June 25, 2019.
