Maude Avenue Improvements

Beginning Jan. 13 through July 2020, the City and its contractor, Redgwick Construction Company, will be completing several street improvements along Maude Avenue between North Mathilda and Fair Oaks Avenues. This project is part of the City’s plan to expand and connect bikeways citywide.

Upgrades include:

  • Installing dedicated bike lanes along the north and south sides of Maude Avenue
  • Improving pedestrian safety at the Sunnyvale Avenue intersection with a modernized traffic signal and a new concrete ramp and sidewalk
  • Improving other ramps and sidewalks, and
  • Repairing the roadway surface with a slurry seal treatment

Construction work will occur Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on City holidays. We will maintain access to driveways, parking lots and businesses with occasional interruption due to construction.

Please be aware of changing traffic conditions as we will be closing or shifting lanes and posting temporary no-parking signs at various locations. In addition, while working on pedestrian curb ramps, we will use pedestrian detours.
