News Details

Sunnyvale Unity

Sunnyvale stands united with community members calling for racial justice and an end to systemic racism. Read the City’s Statement About Racial Injustice. We commit to being transparent and listening to your concerns as we examine our policies and practices.

Transparency. We are proactively sharing information on our policies, practices and programs. To start, we have posted information on police use of force policies and data on officer-involved shootings. We hope this information enriches the dialogue around policy discussions.

Listening. We are hosting a series of listening sessions to better understand community concerns and find a path forward. We invite you to share your thoughts and concerns around equity and inclusion, systemic racism and police practices.
