Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau undertakes a massive task of counting every person living in the United States – regardless of age, citizenship status, gender, etc. Census data helps determine political representation and federal funding for important City programs and services.
Your participation helps ensure our community receives its fair share of more than $675 billion in federal funds annually for critical programs that support education, housing, and emergency disaster relief services. Census data also determines political representation at all levels of government. Outside of voting, one of the most powerful things you can do for your community is participate in the census.
